Threeguru have a long-standing relationship with Derby College based on a passion for creativity and a strategic understanding of its multi layered marketing objectives. Since 2014 the guru’s have been the creative inspiration and brand guardians for the College’s annual Summer Campaign.
The campaign is the College’s largest and most important promotion and is pivotal in attracting students to its’ variety of courses and sites throughout Derbyshire.
This year’s creative inspiration draws on a subtle ripped effect, enabling the campaign to showcase a diverse range of courses from a number of recognisable careers that are easily interchangeable to provide flexibility across digital and print formats.
The strong visual element proved popular with focus groups and staff alike and more importantly will provide scope to appeal to the College’s core target demographic of school leavers.
The selected call to action, ‘Search, Apply, Succeed’ provides a clear prompt for potential applicants to apply online via the college website which now accounts for the bulk of student enquiries.
Commenting on how the campaign came to fruition Creative Director, Chris Reynolds says ‘ Working with Derby College over a number of years has allowed us to get under their skin and understand how they work. It also means that when we are given a brief, we can provide creative inspiration and concepts in line with current business objectives’.
A multi-media schedule is being put together to promote the campaign including radio, multimedia, newspaper, bus, billboard, street talker advertising and large format advertising on the Joseph Wright Building. Keep your eyes peeled.
