Graduate Design Opportunities fulfilled

Creative agency threeguru are delighted to announce the recruitment of their latest crop of new design graduates.

In their quest for fresh creative thinking the Derwent Business Centre based agency has handed graduate design opportunities to Alex Hackney from Nottingham Trent University and Susan Nash from The University of Gloucestershire.

Susan jumped at the opportunity to join Threeguru after obtaining a first-class degree in Graphic Design.

The Staffordshire based farmer’s daughter had kept a watchful eye over the design agency during her time at university and after turning down other graduate design opportunities she opted to put all her eggs in one basket for her dream job with the gurus.

“The opportunity to join threeguru was too good to miss and will hopefully be the strategic fit to kick start my graphic design career.”  Nash said.

Ready to get her hands dirty – Susan Nash ‘can’t wait to get stuck in’ to her role as Strategic Guru.

According to Creative Director Chris Reynolds their latest recruits have already made an instant impact. “We are already seeing the benefit of casting our recruitment web further afield to secure the most promising graduates.”

“Alex has played a pivotal role in shaping threeguru’s most recent brand launch, Tax Retriever, as well having creative input on a brand refresh for Runflat CBR… It’s fair to say he bowled over the gurus with his creative portfolio and commercial awareness and has yet to be stumped by a brief.”

Alex; Grantham Cricket Club’s opening batsman, batted his way to a junior designer role against two other graduates, who all undertook placements as a part of the threeguru recruitment process.

Aside from being an all round nice guy Alex is also the face of Trent Kebabs! His ‘chicken nugget naan’ incarnation might not have usurped his degree in Graphic Design from NTU but it does ensure his place in student folklore for the next few years.
