Have a Guru-vy Christmas

With Christmas just around the corner we’ve decided to celebrate the festive season by taking a look at some of our most enjoyable projects from 2016. It’s truly been a wonderful year working with some fantastic brands and here are a few of our stand out projects.

The New Year started well with a pitch win for British Canoe which saw us develop a sub-brand for the ‘Three Lakes Challenge’ and lead to us working on several projects throughout a golden year for British Canoeing. February saw our ongoing relationship with Graham Penny push on from their advertising and video projects to an amazing opportunity to raise the profile of the brand with a TV Advert that was shown prime time during Coronation Street in May.

spring

Spring has sprung! …and so has our relationship with ISS Labour, initially working on presentation documentation to eventually working on our most impressive web project to date to be launched for the start of 2017 – keep your eyes out for that one! As the daffodils bloomed, so did our projects and having worked with several companies within the thriving UK furniture industry, April saw us working on a re-brand project and new website for Celtheath Contract Furniture.

Our ongoing relationship with Derby College continued and in May we worked with them for our third consecutive year to develop their crucial Summer Campaign. Certainly our brightest project of the year and it’s great to see our campaign in and around Derby. The Summer festival season commenced in June as did our work for the bi-annual Farnborough air show which is one of the most important events in the international aerospace calendar. We worked with Senior Plc to deliver their paperless stand encompassing a touch screen application and corporate video.

summer

Summer, albeit the British Summer, introduced us to This Little Boutique a new client and new project. Sometimes the smallest projects give us the most pleasure and we loved being part of the launch of This Little Boutique. A month later, in August, as a proud marketing Derby bondholder we were delighted to pitch and work with the University of Derby especially on a project we support wholeheartedly – the Derby Internship Programme.

As we moved into Autumn we began working on our largest and most challenging project yet working with Lloyds Register. Filming at locations including Cammell Laird and HMNB Portsmouth this health and safety project should hopefully be a lifesaver. The clocks went back in October but we were kept on our toes with a successful pitch win for Derbyshire County Council and their emotive Anti Stigma Campaign which is due to be launched in the spring of 2017.

autumn

In November, many clients started to think about Christmas promotions and marketing comms for the festive period and we really enjoyed our work with East Midlands Airport to support their retail outlets….. With the countdown to Christmas, our thoughts turned to next year and the motorcycle Expo in January with Brixton Motorcyles.

All in all, we have had a great year and, with our eyes already set on 2017, we look forward to another year of continued growth and exciting opportunities.

xmas

We wish everyone a guru-vy Christmas! …and do stop in for a cuppa in the new year and find out more about what we do or to discuss what you do and how we can help.
